Lush & Lavish Events - Terms of Service

Welcome to Lush & Lavish Events! By booking our services, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These terms ensure that both you, as our valued client, and we, as your event stylists, have a clear understanding of our commitments, policies, and expectations.

1. Services Provided

Lush & Lavish Events offers a range of luxury event styling services, including but not limited to:

  • Balloon styling and installation
  • Floral arrangements (fresh and faux)
  • Custom backdrops and signage
  • Bespoke tablescapes and decor
  • Full event styling services for weddings, birthdays, baby showers, corporate events, and more.

2. Bookings

  • To secure your booking, a non-refundable deposit of 30% is required at the time of booking. Your event date will not be confirmed until this deposit is received.
  • The remaining balance is due 14 days before the event date. For bookings made within 14 days of the event, full payment is required upon confirmation.

3. Cancellations and Rescheduling

  • Should you need to cancel your booking, the deposit is non-refundable. However, you may reschedule your event up to 30 days before the event date, and the deposit can be transferred to the new date (subject to availability).
  • Rescheduling within 30 days of the event will incur an additional fee.
  • In the rare event that Lush & Lavish Events needs to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances, a full refund will be provided, including the deposit.

4. Consultations

  • On-site consultations are available upon request and will incur a call-out fee, which will be deducted from your final invoice if you proceed with booking our services.
  • The fee for consultations varies based on location and the complexity of the event.

5. Event Styling Packages

  • We offer Signature Backdrop Packages for clients looking for a more budget-friendly option with limited customisation.
  • Custom event styling packages are tailored to your vision and requirements. Pricing for bespoke services is based on the complexity, materials, and time involved.

6. Linen and Prop Hire

  • Linens and props hired for your event must be returned in the condition they were received.
  • Wet or damp linens must be hung to dry before returning and should not be folded while wet.
  • Any damage, loss, or unremovable stains (such as red wine) will incur replacement fees.

7. Refund Policy

  • Refunds are only applicable for cancellations initiated by Lush & Lavish Events or in the event of non-performance.
  • Custom orders (e.g., bespoke signage) and florals are non-refundable once work has begun.

8. Payments

  • We accept payment via Afterpay, PayPal, or credit card. All payments must be completed before services are rendered.
  • Failure to make the final payment by the due date will result in cancellation of your booking without refund of the deposit.

9. Liability

  • Lush & Lavish Events will not be held liable for any damages, injuries, or losses occurring at the event venue due to third-party interference or any failure beyond our control (e.g., weather conditions, venue restrictions).
  • We take the utmost care in setting up and styling events; however, once installation is complete, the responsibility for props, backdrops, and styling elements lies with the client or the venue.

10. Client Responsibilities

  • The client is responsible for providing access to the venue for setup at the agreed time. Any delays in venue access may affect the overall setup and styling time.
  • All requests for changes or additional styling must be submitted at least 7 days before the event.

11. Post-Event Pack-Up

  • We provide a full pack-up service after the event. Any damages or losses to hired props or styling elements will be assessed and may incur additional fees.

12. Privacy

13. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Any disputes arising from your booking will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland.

14. Changes to Terms

Lush & Lavish Events reserves the right to update these terms and conditions at any time. Clients will be notified of any significant changes before their event.
